IN TODAY'S match of the 20th State Level Sub Junior Boys Football Tournament organised by Thangmeiband Athletic Union (THAU) at THAU Sports Complex, MYA and THAU win their respective matches while SCY and TYC had a drawn match.
The first match was played between YPHU, Lalambung and MYA, Majorkhul.
The match went in favour of MYA as they won the match after defeating YPHU 2-1 .
Langjangmei of MYA opened the scoreboard by scoring the match's first goal in the 9th minute of the match.
The other goal of MYA was scored by Magam in the 44th minute of the match.
Jonah of YPHU scored one goal against MYA in the 24th minute of the match.
They played the match very well.
Both team found it hard to dominate one another.
But it was a bit of luck that went in favour of MYA that became the reason of YPHU to lose the match.
Rabi of YPHU and Dihen of MYA were issued a yellow card each for their unsporting behaviour.
The second match was a goalless match between SCY, Yumnam Khunou and TYC, Checkon.
.HRaja of SCY was issued a yellow card for his unsporting behaviour during the match.
The third match was won by THAU after defeating SSC Sawombung 2-1 .
The first half of the match concluded goalless.
However in the second half, N.Suresh of THAU scored one goal against SSC in the 54th minute.
Romesh of SSC equalised score in the very next minute.
In the 59th minute, Anilkumar of THAU scored one goal against SSC.
The match ended with THAU winning.
Lenin was issued red card by the centre referee in the 20th minute for his unsporting behaviour during the match.
