Sr Women's Football League kicks off

The 4th AMFA Senior Women's Football League for BM Singh Trophy 2012-13 has kicked off today at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.
All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) is organising the tournament.
In the opening match, Youth Welfare Club (YWC), Langthabal blanked Naharol Yaipha Thourang Lup (NYTHC), Okram Chuthek with three goals and won the match.
The match began with high notes among the players of both teams.
S Rinaroi of YWC took everyone by surprise by drawing the first blood in the 5th minute of the match.
Unable to open their goal account, NYTHC players played the match with a firm determination to win and they wait for chance to equalise the score.
However getting past the defence line of YWC was not an easy task for them.
If they get chance to get the ball near the goal mouth of their opponent, the strong defence of YWC never let them realise the chance into their goal.
The first half concluded 1-0 in favour of YWC.
In the second half, YWC added another goal in their account and extended their lead to 2-0.The second goal of YWC was scored by Ksh Naocha in the 52nd minute of the match.
As the match progressed, NYTHC players began to lose their formation in desperate attempt to square back the game.
YWC players who were playing in a defensive tactics after their second goal did not stop looking for chances to sneak behind defence line of their opponent in quest for yet another goal.
As NYTHC players raced against time to square back the game leaving a porous defence.
Taking full advantage of the situation, S Rinaroi added a brace in the 80+1 minute of the match and the match ended with YWC as winner.
