Four Manipuri women Hockey players selected for FIH Junior World Cup

Imphal, June 30 2013:
P.Sushila Chanu of Manipur will lead the Indian women Hockey Team in the FIH Women's Junior World Cup Hockey to be held from 27th July to 4th August 2013 at Monchengladbach in West Germany.
Four women players from Manipur have been selected to participate in the Women's Junior World Cup Hockey.
They are Th.Pinky Devi (Defender), P.Sushila Chanu (Midfielder), Lily Chanu Mayengbam (Forward) and N.Sanarik Chanu (Golekeeper).
Sushila Chanu will be the team captain of the 18-member squad.

India is placed in pool C along with New Zealand, Australia and Russia.
India team will play the opening match with Australia on 27th July and it would be followed by games with New Zealand on 28th July and Russia on 30th July.

Romesh Singh, Posterior Hockey Academy Manipur (PHAM) has congratulated the players for their selection in India Team and prayed for their success.
