AMFA BMC Senior Wome,'s Football : Police trounce YWC; ESU, KRYPSA share the day

Imphal, April 02 2015 :
AMFA 6th BMC Senior Women's Football League was inaugurated on Thursday at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak by P Raghumani, President All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) .
Five teams are participating in the league namely Naharol Yaiphal Thourang Lup (NYTL), Okram Chuthek; Youth Welfare Club (YWC) Langthabal; Kangchup Road Young Physical Sports Association (KRYPSA) Naoremthong; Eastern Sporting Union (ESU) Wangkhei and Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) .

In the inaugural match, MPSC trounced YWC by 5-1.International player O Bembem; Ng Bala and host of state players constitute the police team.
After a slow start, MPSC gradually control the mid field and initiates well coordinated moves towards YWC territory.
Bala dogged her defender as successfully place the ball in the net of YWC in the 27th min.
Not deterred by the big names in the opposition team YWC came back strongly and shake the police net in the next minute through Rozana.
Stunned by the fight back from YWC, police team pressed more players upfront to protect their reputation and created flurry of attacks at YWC goalmouth.
Timtim Stona get through the YWC defense line and scored a goal to the delight of police in 39th min.
With the lead in their side, police overpowered YWC territory and created numbers of chances.
Bala leaped on those chances and added goals in 44th ; 48th and 66th min to take her total score in the match to four and help police team in winning the match.
ESU and KRYPSA, two well balance teams, played the second match.
From the first minute both the teams raid each other territory to control the match.
ESU through Lalam Haokip opened the account in the 4th min.
After one goal down KRYPSA's effort to level the goal was rewarded when O Roshini turned around her marker and put the ball inside ESU goal in 8th min.
Remaining minutes of the match was played in high intensity and both the teams tried to score the winning goal.
Till the final whistle both the teams were left searching for the elusive goal.
