Shillong Lajong all set to clash with Mohun Bagan

In another match of the ongoing I league tournament of the All India Football Federation (AIFF), Lajong FC, Shillong is all set to clash with Mohun Bagan tomorrow at 1 pm
at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
It may be mentioned that the Lajong FC team chose the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium as its home ground considering the numbers of Manipuri players and the football enthusiast fans of Manipur.
The match tomorrow, which will be played between the one and only I league team of NE India and Mohun Bagan of Kolkata winner three times and runners up two times will be an interesting match with each players locking horns to put their best foot forward in front of the football enthusiasts of the state.
Speaking to reporters in a press meet held at the office of All Manipur Sports Association (AMSA), Mapal Kangjeibung, Prashant Bannerjee, team coach of Mohun Bagan said that his team looking forward to take revenge against Lajong FC for the defeat they suffered in the Federation Cup.
However, there will be some pressure on his team since almost all his players are injured and Sunil Chetri which is the star player of his team will not be participating in the match, he said.
Mohun Bagan with 15 points is in the second position in the ongoing I league tournament.
Dempo Sporting Club is in the top position just above them.
Out of seven matches, Mohun Bagan had won five matches while they suffered loss in the other two.
Meanwhile, there is high possibilities of shifting the home ground of Lajong FC to other stadiums near Shillong as there are intense pressure from football fans of Shillong for their inability to witness the matches.
Regarding the matter, team manager of Lajong FC told Hueiyen Lanpao that no decision has taken yet on the shifting of the homeground of the team.
