SWC crash out of 2nd Tikendrajit Memorial Football Tournament

SWC, Keirak crashed out of the 2nd edition of Ksh Tikendrajit Singh Memorial U-13 Boys State Level Invitation Football Tournament being organised by District Sports Association Kakching under the aegis of All Manipur Football Association at DSA playground as they registered only 1 point in four matches.
Development Youth Association (DYA), Elangkhangpokpi; Sena Athlete's Organisation (SAO), Kakching; United Brothers Spoting Association (UBSA), Mantak and Juvenile Association (JA), Kakching will be looking for theirplaces in the final as they reached semifinals (knockout).
DYA will lock horns with SAO in the first semifinal on June 1 at 2 pm while UBSA will take on JA in the second semifinal scheduled at 3 pm the same day.
Final match will be held on June 3 at 2.30 pm.
The first league match of the day saw, DYA thrash UBSA by 5-0 goals in a very one sided match to register fourth win of the tournament and stay atop league table with 12 points.
N Rohijit struck the opener in the 19th minute before W Shyamchandra scored a brace back to back in the 24th and the 28th minute and handed DYA a 3-0 lead till the first half.
Despite 3-0 lead to continue to press the Mantak side in the second half as well and it was in the 38th minute that Pari of UBSA netted into his own net and make it 4-0 for DYA.
E Rustum who has been in fine form throughout the tournament then wrapped up the game 5-0 with his well taken goal in the 50th minute.
With the loss, UBSA finished second with 9 points and will be looking positive finish in the second semi-final match against JA, Kakching.
The last league match of the tournament saw, SAO hold on to a 1-1 draw by JA, Kakching in a very competitive match.
SAO, who finished third in the table found the breakthrough in the 23 rd minute through Roddick to take a 1-0 lead but Jelly of JA rode home the ball in the 38th minute to share equal point at the end.
