Imphal, November 27 2022:
PTRC-Patsoi Part IV ended their three game losing run in the 1st MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy with a 36 run victory over AKSDO-Khangabok at their home ground today.
After winning the toss, PTRC opted to bat first.
They were bowled out for 117 in 20.3 overs but devastated AKSDO batting line-up to restrict them at 81 all out in 29.1 overs.
Alina Devi (18) and Konsam Sayatombi (21) were the only significant contributors for PTRC today as AKSDO's Alish Thokchom wreaked havoc and fetched four wickets alone.
Bijiya Cricket of AKSDO also starred with a three wicket haul as Sofia managed two wickets to put pressure on PTRC.
Their efforts went in vain as their chase turned out to be a nightmarish one with Linthoingambi Chanu Laishram bowling out both the openers on ducks before claiming her third late.
Tolika Laitonjam then grabbed two wickets back to back in the 5th and the 7th over before Langlenthoi took charge of the bowling attack and claimed four wickets for 13 runs in 7 overs.
Laishram Linthoingambi who scored 9 runs and picked up three wickets was adjudged woman of the match.
PTCC and FORCE, who have registered two wins each, will face off against one another for the remaining final berth tomorrow.
