CYCLONE beat CHAMP by 3 wickets for fourth straight victory

CYCLONE-Thangmeiband ended CHAMP-Khagempalli's three game winning streak and stretched their winning run to four in the 7th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Tournament with a 3 wicket win today.
Put in to bat first at Khangabok Part III Public Ground, CHAMP were bundled out for 166 runs in 34.2 overs by CYCLONE who reached the target in 33 overs with three wickets left to spare.
Leikhram Johny with unbeaten 47 was the highest run getter for CHAMP in their innings before collapsing at 166 runs as Kishan Laishram (3/20 in 6.2 overs), Loktongbam Santosh (3/30 in 7 overs) and Kabrambam Homendro Meitei (2/42 in 7 overs) wreaked havoc with their incisive bowlings.

In reply, CYCLONE faced stiff opposition and left to struggle at 69 for 5 with Md Sultan Karim (5/34) leading the CHAMP bowling attack.
However, K Homendro scored an unbeaten 41 off 47 balls to ease the pressure and lead his team to three wicket win.
L Santosh (29) and Bikash Singh (32) also added significant runs for CYCLONE to set up the victory.
K Homendro who picked two wickets and made the highest 41 in the chase was named man of the match.
