Ruthvika of Andra Pradesh shines in Jr Natl Badminton

The 37th Junior National Badminton Championships organised by Manipur Badminton Association (MBA) under the aegis of Badminton Association of India (BAI) has concluded today at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak Imphal.
Deputy Chief Minister, Gaikhangam and President of Manipur Olympic Association (MOA) and Manipur Badminton Association (MBA) graced the closing function as Chief Guest and President respectively.

Parliamentary Secretary of Youth Affairs & Sports and Tourism, M Prithviraj, Director General of Police, Manipur Y Joykumar and Special Secretary Government of Manipur and Director of YAS H Deleep also attended the function as Guests of Honour.
In today's events, Aditya Joshi of Air India beat Harshil Dhani of Air India in U-17 Boys Singles and won gold.
In U-19 girls singles, Rituvika Shivani C of Andhra Pradesh won gold after defeating Rituparna Das of West Bengal in the final.
Hemanagendra Babu & Meghana J of Andhra Pradesh beat Gopi Raju G of Air India & Porvisha S Ram of Karnataka and won gold in U-19 mixed doubles event.
Shruthi KP & Farha Mather of Kerala won gold in U-17 girls doubles after defeating Reshma Karthik & Sanjana Santosh of Air India in the final.
In U-17 boys doubles final, Sanyam Shukla & Gangadhara Rao of Andhra Pradesh beat Chandrakumar DBS & M Kanishq of Andhra Pradesh and won gold.
Harshil Shani of Air India beat Aditya Joshi of Air India in U-19 boys singles final and won gold.
Ruthivika Shivani of Andhra Pradesh & Poorvisha S Ram of Karnataka beat Meghna J & Maneesha K of Andhra Pradesh in the final of U-19 girls doubles and won gold medal.
Ruthvika Shivani of Andhra Pradesh also won a gold after defeating Reshma Karthik of Air India in the final of U-17 girls singles.
In U-19 boys doubles final, Gopi Raju of Air India & Hemanagendra Babu of Andhra Pradesh beat Shyam Prasad of Kerala & Shlok Ramchandran of Maharashtra and won gold.
