Footgal 2018 : Comfortable wins for Good Guys, Sunshine Angels, Enforcers, ICEU

The Good Guys, Sunshine Angels, The Enforcers and ICEU put up good shows as they overcame their respective rivals in the ongoing Footgal 2018 - 5 A-side night Futsal, organized jointly by District Administration, Churachandpur and Lamka Core today at Rayburn HS premises.
In the first match of the day, The Good Guys thrashed Zenhang Lamka Youth Club (ZLYC) 5-0.Chinglianchiin of The Good Guys starred as she found their rivals' net four time in a row.
Beth Thianhoih banged in one for the winners to cap a comfortable 5-0 victory.
The Good Guys also stood firm to thwart any danger posed constantly by ZLYC.
Meanwhile, Sunshine Angels blanked Siloam Wielding 2-0 in the exciting second match of the day.
After an intense battle that was marked by attack and counter-attacks, Moilunsiam and Mary of Sunshine Angels took turn to boot home a goal each to finish their match in style.
In the thrilling third match of the day, The Enforcers staged a strong come back after their previous 2-5 defeat in the hands of Hoihte FC on the first day as they scripted an exciting 4-2 victory against Lamka SC.
It was Chingngailian who drew the first blood for LSC.
However, The Enforcers dauntlessly put up a spirited fight after a goal deficit.
The Enforcers restored parity through Awisiannuam.
A brace from Ngaimuankim and a goal by Ngaihoihnuam were enough for the Enforcers to send their rivals scurrying to find the equalizers.
LSC's hard work paid dividends when Cecilia Haokip struck one to make the score line read 4-2 when the final whistle was blown.
The last match of the day at 8 PM also saw ICEU recovering from their previous 3-4 defeat at the hands of DOVE as they clinched a massive 7-1 victory over Bungmual YC.
Angela Nemneimawi did the star turn for ICEU as she struck five goals for her team.
Lydia Ngailunkim contributed two goals for the winners.
After hectic attempts to equalize, if not reduce the margin, BYC could only pull one goal back through Zenbiakkim thus allowing ICEU a perfect 7-1 finish.
VENUS clash with BBBP in tomorrow's first match at 5 PM while Bethesda College of Nursing take on Chelsea India Supporters' Club in the second match at 6 PM.
Vimala Raina HS lock horns with Community Development Society (CDS) at 7 PM while the last match of the day will be between Obadiyah School and Rayburn FC at 8 PM .
