Junior Girl's National Football Championship : Manipur thrash Maharashtra 8-0

Manipur advanced into the quarterfinals of the ongoing Junior Girl's National Football Championship, organised by the All India Football Federation, today at Cuttack, Odisha.
In today's preliminary Group-E league match, State eves handed a crushing 8-0 defeat to Maharashtra to secure the quarterfinal berth.
The winning goals of Manipur were scored by Ratanbala (4th, 23rd, 55th, 61st).The other winning goals came through a brace each from Kashmina (58th, 77th) and Daya (81st, 90+) .
Manipur will clash with Jharkhand in the first quarterfinal match on July 8 .
It may be mentioned that in the previous match, Manipur outclassed Chattisgarh by a margin of 12 goals to nil.
