2nd Heibok T-20 Cricket : Prafullomanf s fifty guides YWC to huge 9 wicket victory

Prafullomani made a fine batting performance today to help YWC, Langthabal thrash KSDO, Kyamgei by 9 wickets and ensured a place in the quarter finals of the 2nd Heibok T-20 Cricket Tournament being organised Langthabal Sporting Club under the aegis of Manipur Cricket Association.
KSDO which opted to bat first could manage only 107 runs for 6 in 20 overs riding on Abdul Rafique's 31, Sadam's 25 and Thongin's 14 runs.
Bishwas and Prasantamani of YWC led the bowling attack claiming two wickets each while Priyokumar and Th Kishan managed a wicket each in four overs to hold the Kyamgei side.
In reply, Prafullomani punished the KSDO bowlers as he hit an unbeaten 39 ball 58 to steer his team to the huge 9 wicket win.
Jiko gathered 24 runs before he was dismissed by Wakib of KSDO in the 21st ball and Bingsonxame in to score 15 runs to make it 109 for 1 in 12.2 overs.
Prafullomani was eventually adjudged man of the match.
Meanwhile in the Group B league match of the day, Al-Ameen Lilong overcame Model Club by 28 runs.
Al Ameen which chose to bat first had a wonderful start with Al Bashid securing 52 runs in 46 balls to make it 134 runs for 6 in 20 overs.
Razzak and Samir also gathered 18 runs and 19 runs each in this innings for the Lilong side.
Dhamen and Bishorjit of Model Club claimed two wickets each in 4 overs in this innings.
In response, Model Club were restricted to 106 runs in 18.4 overs as Al Ameen bolwers made a concerted, effort to wreak havoc across their batting line up.
Karnajit hit the highest of 32 runs in 38 balls while Dhamen and Bishorjit added 17 and 14 runs each.
Habibullah fetched two wickets each in this innings while Abdullah, Samir, Nasir and Mustque managed one wicket each.
Al Bashid who hit a half century was named man of the match.
SSU will meet FORCE in the next Group A league match tomorrow at 9 am and REYS will meet MVCA in the Group B league match latter at 12.45 pm .
