ESU likely to win 11th AMFA Sr Women's Football League

The dominance of Eastern Sporting Union (ESU), Wangkhei in the 11th AMFA Sr Women's Football League for BM Singh Trophy remained intact with a 2-1 win over close rival YWC, Langthabal, today at artifical turf Lamlong Thongkhong.
Interestingly, this is the first loss for the Langthabal team in the league while ESU, which has just one more game in hand, remains undefeated.
In the first league match of the day, I Prameshwori netted ESU first goal in the 14th minute, before she extended the lead to 2-0 in the 58th minute.
The Langthabal time also proved a worthy opponent of the ESU and still has a chance to win the league, though very slim.
The only goal of YWC was scored by Ch Binobala in the additional time (80+1).ESU will play their last match of the league on March 27 against AMMA FC, Andro.
YWC will also meet MPSC on the same day.
Meanwhile, in the second league match of the day, WFA, Kakching defeated ICSA Irengbam by 1 goal to nothing.
The deciding goal of the match was struck by Mambika in the 51st minute.
