Polo Int'l: USA rout Indian Navy 13-6, UK defeat India A 9-2

Imphal, November 24 2022:
USA defeated Indian Navy 13-6 in the first match and UK beat India A 9-4 in the second match on the third day of the Manipur Polo International Tournament organised by Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung.
Even though the Indian Navy team lost the match, they put up a much better show than their first match where they lost 16-0 to the UK.
The match started on equal footing in the 1st chukear with both USA and India Navy scoring two goals.
While Will Boland and JP Varquez scored for the USA, Altaf Khan scored twice for the Indian Navy.
In the 2nd Chukker, USA pumped in three goals through Jorge Varquez (twice) and JP Varquez while Captain AP Singh and Commander AK Panchai scored for the Indian Navy.
The chukkar ended 5-4 in favour of the USA.
The 3rd and 4th chukker was the period where the USA team ran away with the match.
In the third chukker, Nik Feldman and Will Boland scored two goals each while Captain AP Singh scored twice for the Indian Navy.
The chukker ended at 9-6 in favour of USA.
In the 4th chukker, Indian Navy failed to score a single goal while the USA scored four more goals through Will Boland.
USA won the match resoundingly with a score of 13-6.The match umpires Were Harry Tucker of the UK and T Pradeepkumar of India B.In the second match of the day, the UK team scored three goals in the 1st chukker through Jack Tucker, Harry Tucker and Pil Seller.
The Indian Navy failed to open their account in the chukker.
In the 2nd chukker, Harry Tucker scored twice for UK while for India A Major Aman and Ranshay Purohit scored.
The chukkar ended 5-2 in favour of UK.
The India A team drew a blank in the 3rd chukker as UK team added two more goals through George Amor and Phil Seller to raise the lead to 7-2 for UK.
The 4th chukker was fought on equal terms with each team adding two goals.
Phil Seller and Harry Tucker scored for the UK while Syed Hurr Ali scored twice for India A.The final tally 9-2 went in favour of the UK.
