AIM lifts 9th DSA Trophy

Anouba Imagi Mangal (AIM), Khabam Lamkhai defeated DM RAO, Awang Sekmai 3-1 in the final and lifted the champion's trophy of the 9th DSA Trophy N Bhubon Memorial State Level Invitation Football Tournament 2013 organised by District Sports Association (DSA), Kakching.
The final match played between the two teams began with high notes with each teams trying to dominate over one another with the hope to win.
As a result, the first half concluded in a goalless draw since no players of both teams could not scored a single goal.
In the second half, AIM scored three successive goals and shock their opponents.
The three goals were scored by Naoton, Manimohon and Bandona in the 47th, 63rd and 68th minutes of the match respectively.
On the other hand, the one goal for DM RAO was scored by Prakash in the 71st minute of the match.

Joshis of DM RAO, Hemanta and Devan of AIM were issued yellow cards for playing fouls during the match.
S Rajesh of AVO, Kakching was awared the title of Best Manager which carries a cash prize of Rs 1000 .
Bandona of AIM won the Hioghest Scorer's title and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 1000.The title for Best Goalkeeper was awarded to Y Ojit of DM RAO along with Rs 1000 cash prize. S Ngamneiril of UBSA was awarded the title of Best Midfielder along with Rs 500 cash prize.
Ng Prakash of DM RAO was adjusted Man of the Final Match along with a cash prize of Rs 1000 .
Ideal Youth Club (IYA), Kakching won the Best Fair Play Award which carries a cash prize of Rs 1000 while Kh Sanjay of NEROCA was adjusted Best Defender and was awarded Rs 1000 cash prize.
Runner up DM RAO, Awang Sekmai was awarded a cash prize of Rs 30,000 and winner AIM, Khabam Lamkhai won Rs 40,000 cash prize.
MLA, Kakching A/C, Y Surchandra and MLA, Wabagai A/C, Fajur Rahim graced the function as Chief Guest and President respectively.
Chairperson of Kakching Municipal Council, Ksh Subadani, General Secretary of All Manipur Football Association, L Ranjit Roy and Propietor, Bhubon Brick Field, Kakching N Nopur were also present as Guests of Honour.
