KSC emerge Super Div champions

SK Bun-gthoi scored a hattrick in KSC, Lambulane's 8-4 win over CYLC, Chingamathak as the former took an unassailable lead (13 points) to emerge as the champions of the 12th S Birendra Singh Memorial (IW) Super Division Football Tournament.
In the penultimate match of the six-team league competition played today at Lilong Chajing ground, KSC raced to a 2-0 lead within five minutes of play as Khelkhomao Vaiphei (2nd) and Lamkholen Jen (5th) found the mark.
Even though Chingthangkhomba bridged the score deficit with the first of his two goals in the match in the 9th minute, the Lambulane side extended the advantage by six goals in the 50th minute with Bungthoi scoring three them (11th, 48th, 50th) as Thonkhen-thang (28th) and Mulkhosem (43rd) contributed one each.
Letmintun Khongsai netted the eighth KSC goal in the 59th as Chingthangkhomba (52nd), Nobin (62nd) and Naote (77th) scored the other goals for CYLC.
DM Rao, Sekmai and THAU, Thangmeiband will play in the last match of the tournament on August 23 .
