Imphal, May 15 2009: In today's matches of the 15th State Level Women's Hockey Championship, 2009 organised by the Women's Hockey Association of Manipur, SAI RC and MEIRAA won their respective matches.

The first match today was played between SAI RC and SLO, Bishnupur.

The match was won by SAI RC after defeating SLO 12-1 after playing an easy-to win match.

Players of SAI RC played the match dominantly from the beginning.

They at various moments attempted many goal attacks.

SLO players found it hard to face the various attacks of SAI RC.

They could scored only one goal against SAI RC in the match.

It was scored in the 38th minute of the match by S Rolly.

On the other hand, L Premika of SAI RC scored four goals against SLO in the match.

She scored the four goals in the 24th, 48th, 50th and 65th minutes of the match.

However, the first goal of the match was scored by W Mandakini of SAI RC in the 9th minute of the match.

She had also scored one goal against SLO in the 69th minute of the match.

I Robita also scored three goals against SLO in the 26th, 36th and 52nd minute of the match.

A Geetarani scored two goals while P Achoubi scored only one goal against SLO.

Geetarani scored the two goals in the 66th and 68th minutes of the match and Achoubi scored her goal in the 11th minute of the match.

MEIRAA, Bashikhong and Posterior Hockey Academy, Manipur (PHAM) played the second match today.

MEIRAA beat PHAM 6-0 and won the match.

The whole match was dominantly played by the players of MEIRAA from the beginning.

They at various moments attempted many goal attacks against PHAM.

In the same time PHAM players played the match to their fullest skills and tried hard to defend themseleves against the various attacks of MEIRAA.

The first goal of the match was scored in the 15th minute of the match.

It was scored by Ch Sunibala in the 15th minute of the match.

After that O Memtombi also scored one goal against PHAM in the 34th minute of the match.

The third goal of MEIRAA was scored in the 35th minute of the match by Kh Nirmala of MEIRAA.

With two goals ahead of them, PHAM players tried hard to equalise the score.

But all their efforts went into vain when L Rinarani of MEIRAA striked another goal against them in the 37th minute of the match.

PHAM players tried hard to defend themselves against the attacks of MEIRAA and in the same time, players of MEIRAA too attempted many goal attacks against PHAM.

As the match progressed, Th Bidyarani of MEIRAA striked another goal against PHAM in the 47th minute.

Rinarani scored her second goal in the 56th minute and won the match giving no chance to PHAM for a single goal.
