State Archery Championship : L Monika strikes gold medal for SAIRC

SAIRC had a great start winning three gold medals at the 33rd Junior State Archery Championship, 2018-19 (Indian Round, Recurve and Compound) which kicked off today at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
L Monika Devi of SAIRC clinched a gold medal in the girls individual 50+50 m compound event posting a total of 655 points which was 6 points ahead of ACE's L Dulina.
L Soniya Devi of SAIRC managed 643 points to finish third in the competition.
In the junior boys compound 50+50 m individual competition, Welson T of SAIRC shot 685 points to finish first while Erwin L of VAA finished second with a total score of 682 points.
SAIRC's S Rajendro finished third in this event securing a total of 679 points.
In the junior boys compound team event, SAIRC's S Rajendro, Welson T, Th Surjunganba and H Tauben scored 1994 points to win the gold.
UAC team comprising of Ng Langamba, RK Priyobarta and Ng Pradip secured 1895 to secured the second spot while the third place title went to ACE team (K Paritomba Singh, Kh Nelson, N Deepak and Vivekananda Konsam) which collected 1876 points.
In the Indian Round 40+40 m individual event for boys, L Naoton of FAC won the gold hitting 665 points while L Nelson of NSA bagged the second place with 663 (X-13, 10-17) score and L Milan of BCAC claimed the third with 663 (X-9, 10-20) score.
BCAC team consisting of L Milan, CH Borish, Th Heller and L Olen clinched the Indian Round event title with a total score of 1973 points.
NSA team comprising of L Yohenba, L Nelson, M Amarjeet and Y Rojit finished second in this event scoring a total of 1905 while KMAC team made by Ch Nelson, E Orbit, Ch Chaoba and Sheityakumar H amassed 1880 to finish third.
