State lads Shankar, Bidyananda selected for Mt Everest summit

Imphal, January 08 2013:
Chirom Shankar and Phairenbam Bidyananda from Manipur has been selected to be a part of India's 9-men Mt Everest Expedition team of NCC who will scale the highest peak of the world in the next month.
YOC, Waheng Khuman congratulated the two climbers of the state on their selection and wish them a grand success in the expedition.
Chirom Shankar is the second son of Chirom Sanajaoba and Chirom Ongbi Mangolnganbi from Waheng Khuman.
Phairenbam Bidyananda is a resident of Moirang in Bishnupur district.
