Ajay Singh stars in Manipur Shooting Competition

All Manipur Shooting
Competition 2017 organised
by Manipur Rifle Association
at Khuman Lampak shooting
range was held today.

president, Manipur Rifle
Association were the
dignitaries of the closing
ceremony.
Imphal West District
Rifle Association topped
the medal tally by bagging
25 gold, 15 silver and 10
bronze medals.
With 16 gold, 14 silver
and 7 bronze medals,
Imphal East District Rifle
Association were placed
second in the tally.
The competition was
held in 52 different
events.
Seram Binoy of
IEDRA broke the record
in the 50 M Men's
individual small bore free
rifle prone (NR) championship.
Ajay Singh Huidrom of
IWDRA also set records
in the 25 M junior men
individual centre fire
pistol (NR) championship
and 25 M junior men
individual sports pistol
(NR).
He also broke the
record in 25 M junior
men individual standard
pistol (NR) championship.
Kangjam Prem Singh of
IWDRA was also successful
in setting a record in
the 50 M men individual
free pistol (NR) championship.
He also set a record
in the 10 M pistol men
(ISSF) championship
individual.
Amakcham Goutam
Meitei also created a record
in the 50 M junior men
individual free pistol (NR)
championship while Silvia
Loukrakpam of IEDRA set
another record in the 10 M
youth women individual air
pistol (NR) championship.
Khumalambam Erika of
BSISC set a record in the
10 M women (novices)
individual .177 peep sight
air rifle while RK Mamta
Devi of IWDRA set a
record in the 10 M junior
women individual .177
peep sight air rifle (ISSF) .
