YPHU, PTRC register second successive wins in N Rajningthou Memorial Trophy

Young Physique Union (YPHU), Lalambung and PTRC, Patsoi cruised to second league stage wins today in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy 2021-22 .
At YCWO ground Heinoupok, YPHU posted a winning 126 for 9 in a last ball thriller (30 overs) after PTCC bundled out for 124 runs in 29.2 overs.
Tanisqh (27), Hiras (16), Nelson (13*) and Karnajit (10) were the significant contributors PTCC had today after they were put in to bat first.
The innings saw YPHU's Bishoraj scalp thrice for 16 in 6 overs as Abdul Kaif (2/25) and Prince Kumar (2/26) managed two wickets each and Birbal (1/16) managed one.
Hiras of PTCC claimed three wickets (3/25) and Nikhil and Karnajit bagged two wickets each to apply break in the chase but YPHU managed to register 126 runs in a nervy thriller for the 1 wicket win.
Birbal was the top scorer for YPHU with a total 45 runs while Rishi and Amarendra Prasad added 12 and 11 runs respectively to ensure YPHU win.

Stoneson stars as PTRC cruise to 136 run victory.
PTRC-Patsoi, meanwhile scripted a huge 136 run victory over TRAU, Kwakeithel at ABA ground, Kshetrigao.
Having won the toss, PTRC were able to gather 170 runs for 6 wickets in 30 overs courtesy Lanor Naorem (32), Tamarland (30), Nongdamba Meetei (22) and Stoneson (24) and bowled out TRAU for 34 runs within 19.1 overs for the emphatic win.
In the PTRC innings, Indrakumar Singh of TRAU bagged two wickets for 24 runs in 6 overs while his compatriots Y Abbas, G Shinotian, Y Bharatngamba and M Swabhiman bagged a wicket apiece.
Stoneson of PTRC emerged wrecker in chief as he dismissed 4 TRAU wickets for 8 runs in 4.1 overs.
Laitonjam James (3/9 in 5 overs) and Malangba (2/11) also added teeth to attack which crumbled TRAU line up with ease.
Stoneson who scored 24 runs and bagged four wickets, was eventually named man of the match.
