6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship Manipur to meet Jharkhand in semifinal

Manipur Hockey (MAN) will clash with Hockey Jharkhand (THA) in the first semifinal while Hockey Chandigarh (CHD) and Hockey Gangpur (GAN), Odisha will clash in the second semifinal match of the 6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship (A-Division), organised by Hockey Manipur under the aegis of Hockey India, on May 21 at Hockey Ground, Khuman Lampak.
In today's Group-C league match, Madhya Pradesh Hockey (MPA) crushed Hockey Andra Pradesh (HAP) 14-0.MPA's Himanshu Sanik alone banged in six goals in the 14th, 22nd, 25th, 33rd, 40th and 45th minute.
The other winning goals came through Mohd Anas (4th, 49th), Abdul Ansari Sakib (31st, 67th), Aniket Varun (38th, 46th) and Shailendra Singh (59th, 62nd).Earlier in today's Group C match, Hockey Gangpur Odisha (GAN) clinched a comprehensive 6-0 victory against Delhi Hockey (Del).
A brace each from Manip Kerketta (4th, 31st), Sudeep Chirmako (33rd, 46th) and goals from Anjulus Toppo (26th) and Amandeep Lakra (51st) gave six winning goals to GAN.
In a Group-D match, Sports Authority of India (SAI) trounced Hockey Karnataka (KAR) by a margin of 6 goals to two.
SAI witnessed their winning goals through Deepak (30th, 35th, 44th), Michael Topno (55th), Vishal (68th) and Rimanshu (58th).On the other hand, Deepak and Manjeet scored a goal each in the 9th and 27th minute for KAR.
In the last Group-D match, Hockey Jharkhand (THA) edged past Hockey Maharashtra (MAH) by a margin of 4 goals to three.
A goal each from Anurud Bhengra, Joseph Kongari, Denish Tete and Amardeep Samrat Kujur in the 11th, 16th, 35th and 61st minute gave four winning goals to THA.
For MAH, Parmeshwar Pote hit a double in the 3rd and 47th minute and a goal from Aamid Khan Pathan in the 21st minute gave three goals.
