Manipur State League: NISA asst coach slapped with Rs 3000 fine

Assistant Coach of NISA, Th Sivadutta has been imposed a fine of Rs 3000 with a stern warning payable on or before the immediate next match of NISA on October 22, 2014, failing which he will not be allowed to take part in any activity organized by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) or its affiliated units.
It was stated in a press note issued by Assistant General Secretary, AMFA M Nilo today.
It further stated that the 9th Manipur State League Committee examined the reports of the Match Commissioner and Referee of the Match No 66, NISA Vs MPSC, of the ongoing MSL played at Mapal Kangjeibung on October 14, 2014 here.
After the said match, supporters of NISA led by Th Sivadutta kicked the chair of the 4th Official and the medical box.
And, the same supporters intruded into the dressing room of the Referee and complained against the decision of the Referee in a clear view of the AMFA officials who were present at the time.
Such acts violated Art 13 'Engage in public criticism of the match officials'; 'Entering the pitch during or after the game by any occupant of technical area to protest any decision of the referee' and 'Rule No 12(i) of the Rules and Regulations,' he expressed.
The 9th MSL Committee 2014 discussed the incident and decided Assistant Coach Th Sivadutta to restrain from sitting in the technical area with the team members in NISA's immediate next match of the 9th MLS, 2014, he cautioned.
