PTRC to play CYCLONE in 5th MNCA Elite tournament final

Imphal, March 11 2021:
PTRC Patsoi will clash CYCLONE, Thangmeiband in the final of the 5th MNCA Elite Tournament being organised by Manipur Cricket Association at Luwangpokpa Cricket ground, Luwangsangbam.
The Patsoi team earned their ticket to the final defeating CHAMP Khagempalli by 4 wickets in the second semi finals staged today.
CHAMP which won the toss and opted to bat first managed to score only 76 in 26.3 overs, setting an easy target for their opponent in the 30 overs match.
The highest run takers of the losing team was Johnny who struck 20 off 54 balls while Ph Jotin and Kiran clinched 3 wickets each in the first inning.
In the second innings, PTRC lost some early wickets, but managed to chase the target successfully in 18.5 overs, thanks to Ng Jemeson who played anchor.
Ng Jemeson hit 25 off 43 balls.
The best bowler of the losing side would definitely be Sultan who took 3 wickets in his 5.5 overs.
PTRC's Jotin was declared man of the match.
It may be mentioned that CYCLONE, Thangmeiband beat FORCE, Kshetrigao in the first semi finals.
