Manipur bag overall team runners up title

Imphal, April 10 2016:
State archery team bagged the overall team runners up title in the 23rd Senior National Indian Round Archery Championships, organised by the Archery Association of India at Jharkhand.
The championship was began from April 8 .
The overall team champions trophy went to hosts Jharkhand.
Manipur clinched two gold and one bronze medal in the championship.
In the championship, P Soniya Devi of Manipur clinched one gold and a bronze medal respectively in the 50 meters and 30 meters event.
In the team event, girls team comprising P Soniya Devi and S Nirmala Devi, P Golmei and Y Bharti Devi won a gold medal.
