State Polo Tournament K&MM Riding School to meet THYPC-A in women's final

K&MM Riding School, Singjamei which played out 1-1 draw against Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club-B (THYPC-B) in the last league match of 13th Women's State Level Polo Tournament 2018, reached final to meet THYPC-A on January 7 .
N Ashakiran of K&MM Riding School and Asem Romabati of THYPC-B scored one goal each in the third chukker to finished the game in a 1-1 draw.
Paradise Polo Team drubbed K&MM Riding School-B 8-1 in a match of the 1st Junior Boy's (U-16) State Level Polo Tournament.
The first chukker ended 1-1 with goals scored by K Dayananda of Paradise Polo Team and Th Bobby of K&MM Riding School-B .
K Dayananda scored one goal in the second chukker to give his team a 2-1 lead followed two goals from Th Sanathoi in the third chukker.
Th Boynao added two more goals followed by a single from Sanathoi in the last chukker .
An own goal conceded by the losing side enabled the Singjamei side secure a 8-1 victory .
THYPC trounced Khuman Polo Club by a huge 7-1 margin in the first match of the 34th Men's State Level Polo Tournament, .
THYPC took charge of the game from the beginning of the match.
P Premjit of THYPC opened the account and gave his team a 1-0 lead in the first chukker.
Sh Roshan Sharma scored twice in the second chukker for the winners side followed by S Abung and Geetchandra scoring one each to give their team a convincing 5-0 lead.
S Abung came up with a single in the third chukker which also witnessed Khuman Polo Club grabbed a consolation goal through O Paikhomba.
Sh Roshan Sharma struck one more goal in the last chukker and handed THYPC an easy 7-1 victory.
In yet another similar encounter, K&MM Riding School thrashed ESC, Nongmeibung 8-2 in a very one sided match.
K&MM Riding School led the first half with two goals scored one each by A Ranjan and L Dhaneshwar.
The second chukker saw S Sarat, O Satyajit and L Dhaneshwar scoring one goal each while lacklustre Nongmeibung side managed to score one goal through Th Jackson and made the score read 5-1 .
Sarat and Dhaneshwar scored one goal each again in the third chukker while Th Jackson of the Nongmeinung side also made his way to score the last goal for his team.
It was L Dhaneshwar who chipped in the last goal and gave his team a comfortable 8-2 victory.
Samadon Ayangba -A will take on ESC, Nongmeibung tomorrow at 10 am as the first match for junior boys' category.
Tentha Polo Club will play X Polo Club at 1 pm in the first match of the men's category.
Chingkheihunba Polo Club-B will face Tekcham Polo Club at 2 pm as the second match while MPSC-B will take on K&MM Riding School-C in the last match.
