ADAM expidition team leaves

A 20-member team, including female trekkers, of Adventure Academy of Manipur (ADAM) left Imphal today for a 10-day trekking expidition to Nubra Valley in Ladakh, Kashmir.
According to an ADAM release, the expidition trip is organised under the sponsorship of Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Manipur with the objective of promoting adventure activities in the region and instilling sense of dedication and selflessness amongst the youth.
The trekkers will cross the highest mortable pass in the world on their way to Leh and explore the wilderness of Nubra and Rupsu valleys in Ladakh, it said adding that Senior Youth Officer of YAS, Manipur M Chandrakumar Singh flagged-off the expidition after briefing by ADAM and YAS officials.
