KFA eye overall team title in IE District Level Fencing C'ship

Imphal, October 02 2019:
KFA are looking forward to win the overall team title at the 1st Imphal East District Level Fencing Championship being held at Auditorium Hall Khuman Lampak with a rich haul of 8 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze medals till day 2 of the championship.
SLLC are following KFA with a collection of 4 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze medals.
The championship will conclude tomorrow.

Day 2 Events
Mini Girls
P Ambika of SLLC won the mini girls' sabre title beating Nancy of KFA in the final today while semi-finalists Payal of SWC and Priya of KFA bagged the bronze medals.
SLLC earned another gold medal in the mini girls foil event as Alina Th emerged on top after beating her compatriot T Mangaleibi in the final while YDO's M Alish and Valentina grabbed the bronze medals.
KFA's Nk Tamphasana won the mini girls epee gold beating her compatriot N Dibiya in the final today while Priyanka of SLLC and S Linthoingambi of OLA who made it upto the semi-finals bagged the bronze medals.
Mini Boys
Th Sheityananda of KFA bagged the mini boys' sabre gold beating Saolin N of SWC in the final today while Saion of SWC and S Jemikanta bagged the bronze medals.
KFA bagged another gold medal in the epee event with Sh Zenith beating L Naresh of YDO in the final while KFA's Samson and P Debendro of SLLC claimed the bronze medals.
Cadet Boys
O Dinkash of KFA fetched the sabre gold for Cadet boys beating N Tejkumar of the same unit while A Sarthi of SWC and Remo of YDC who made it upto the semi-finals earned the bronze medals.
Sub-Junior
Sub-Junior girls' foil title went to Valentina Th of KFA who downed SLLC's Kh Anjali in the final today while S Menaka of SLLC had to settle for the bronze medals.
Maxi Th on the other hand, fetched the sub-junior boys sabre gold beating A Kuku in an all SLLC final today while N Ranbir of KFA bagged the bronze medals.
