AMWJU Journalists Sports Meet Indian Oil sponsored TSE emerge runners up

Spon-sored by Indian Oil, team TSE emerged the runners up team behind ISTV in the just concluded Journalists Sports Meet organised by the All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) during the Yaoshang festival.
The sports meet was held from March 11 to March 16 .
Teams from different media houses based in the State participated in the sports meet which was held in different disciplines, including athletics, badminton, table tennis, chess, volley ball, football and cricket.
Team The Sangai Express emerged the runners up team bagging 4 gold, 2 silver, and one bronze.

Th Kishan of The Sangai Express won the gold medal in the 100 metres race, clocking 12.41 seconds while W Kumarjit of ISTV won the silver in 13.03 seconds.
W Romeo of Poknapham won the bronze clocking 13.74 seconds.
In the women's 100 metres race, ISTV took a clean sweep with L Negrina, Victoria RK and Jayalakshmi bagging the first three spots.
In the man's shot put competition, Th Kishan of The Sangai Express won gold while Binoy N and N Phillip of ISTV bagged the silver and bronze respectively.
In the women's shot put competition, Chanchan of ISTV secured the gold medal while K Nirmala of The Sangai Express and Kabita of ISTV won the silver and bronze respectively.
Th Kishan of The Sangai Express won the gold in man's discus throw followed by Binoy N of ISTV and W Romeo of Poknapham with silver and bronze respectively.
In the women's section in discus throw, RK Nirmala of ISTV won the gold followed by Jayalakshmi of ISTV and K Nirmala of The Sangai Express with the silver and bronze respectively.
In the men's long jump event, Kumarjit of ISTV won the gold while Th Kishan of The Sangai Express bagged the silver and Bipin of ISTV won the bronze.
Victoria RK of ISTV won the gold in the women's long jump event followed by Jayalakshmi of ISTV and Negrina of ISTV again.
In the 400 metres race, Th Kishan of The Sangai Express won the gold followed by W Kumarjit of ISTV and N Bipin of ISTV again in the second and third spot.
In the women's section Victoria RK of ISTV won gold followed by L Negrina and Ng Jayalakshmi again both from ISTV.
In the men's volley ball championship, Poknapham emerged the winners with ISTV getting the silver.
N Bikram of Mannaba won gold in the men's badminton event while E Bormani of Media United was the runner up.
The bronze went to B Sanjoy of Media United.
Impact TV News won the gold in football while Poknapham emerged the champions in Cricket.
In chess Bimolchand of Sanaleibak won gold.
