ZV Mataimi Zimik gave a spectacular lead to MTFC in the 8th minute.
Even as THAU, who fielded new and inexperience players, pushed hard to make significant breakthrough by raiding their rivals' citadel, they could not breach the fortified defence line of MTFC.
On the other hand, THAU defence was caught napping several times by MTFC, who had a nice build up.
Goals by Paothianmoi Vaiphei (24', 40' and 65'), RN Ngatangmi (45' and 75') and K Lungkoiba Maram (51') sealed easy victory for MTFC.
Ikon (Sitaljit) managed to pull one back for THAU in the 89th minute.
Meanwhile, YDO, who were set up to clash with giants NEROCA FC in the second semifinal today, failed to turn up in the field.
The final match, as such, will be played between MTFC and NEROCA FC on March 31 at 2 pm.
