7th 57 Mountain Division Polo Tournament ; Convincing wins for KPC, MPSC-A

Khurai Polo Club (KPC) and Manipur Police Sports Club-A registered convincing wins in the ongoing 7th 57 Mountain Division Polo Tournament underway at Mapal Kangjeibung today.
In the first match of the day, KPC blanked Ibudhou Thangjing Polo Club (ITPC) by 7 goals to 2 .
In the first chukker of the match, ITPC surged ahead when M Doren found the mark in the 6.05th minute only to be nullified when L Thomson of KPC was on target in the 6.45th minute.

Tied with two goals each, both teams took the second chukker determined to surge ahead and KPC shot into the lead when O Roger was bang on target in the 1.18th minute and again in the 2.39th minute.
L Thomson increased the lead when he scored in the 3.26th minute.
M Doren of ITPC pulled one back for the team in the 4.26th minute.
In the third chukker, KPC put the match away from the reach of ITPC scoring three goals and not conceding a single goal.
O Roger charged from the front in scoring in the 3.27th minute of the third chukker while L Thomson and K Jogendra scored one goal each in the 3.51st minute and 5.05th minute to seal the match.
In the second match of the day, Manipur Police Sports Club-A (MPSC) had an easy day routing X Polo Club (PC) by 9 goals to 3 .
In the first chukker, the goals for MPSC came through M Jawan and S Bimol in the 0.14th minute and 6.15th minute while L Tolongkhomba reduced the margin in the 3rd minute.
The two teams were evenly matched in the second chukker both scoring two goals each.
L Atangba opened the account for PC in the .5th minute while S Bimol and H Abungkumar scored one goal each for MPSC in the 4.27th and 7.06th minute.
In between L Tolongkhomba scored one in the 5.27th minute for PC.
In the third chukker, MPSC put the match away from the reach of PC scoring four goals through M Jawan in the 6.27th minute while S Bimol scored thrice in 1.03rd, 2.57th and 4.12th minute of the chukker to help MPSC register a convincing 9-3 victory.
