N Rajningthou Memorial Cricket : Wakil, Imran help Al-Ameen crush CYCLONE by 203 runs, 45-run victory for PTCC

Wakil scored a brilliant 27-ball 61 and scalped 4 wickets to help Al-Ameen, Lilong overwhelm CYCLONE, Thangmeiband by 203 runs in today's Group B league match of the ongoing 1st MCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Singh Memorial Trophy 2019 at Heinoupok Ground.
PTCC also defeated CRAU, Khamnam Leirak by 45 runs in a Group A leugae match played at Langthabal Public Ground.
In the match played at Heinouok ground, Al Ameen won the toss and posted 231 for 7 in 30 over after electing to bat first.
Wakil and Imran gave Al Ameen a robust start scoring 61 runs and 44 runs while Alfash and Aziz added 32 and 29 runs respectively to post a total of 231 runs.
Manglemba of CYCLONE did well to picked up 3 wickets in this innings while Samsung, Patel and Suraj managed 1 wicket apiece.
It was a cakewalk for Al Ameen as none of the CYCLONE batsmen could pick up double digit score in the chase then ended up at 28 runs in 10.2 overs.
Donny made a meagre 9 runs off 26 balls while Samsung and Lanleiba managed 2 runs each enroute to their worst defeat.
Wakil grabbed 4 wickets offering 13 runs in 3.2 overs he bowled to walk away as man of the match in this innings while Alfash and Imran struck two wickets each.
Awesh of Al-Ameen also picked up one wicket in this innings.
Elsewhere at Langthabal Public Ground, PTCC, Patsoi piled up 175 runs for 7 in 30 overs after opting to bat first.
It was Champion's 87 run knock and 2 wicket haul that ensure such a comfortable win today.
Dominic and Bryan also added 19 and 12 runs respectively for PTCC in this innings which saw Joyhenba of CRAU enjoyed a 3 wicket haul and Vikash and Oliver picked up 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
CRAU on the other hand had a dismal chase as they were restricted at 130 runs for all wickets down in 24.1 overs.
Joyhenba remained not out with 47 runs in 36 balls in this innings but his effort went in vain as other batsmen went down in quick succession.
Jodash and Prakash also gathered 13 runs each for CRAU in this chase while Herin managed 11 runs.
PTCC bowlers made a concerted effort in breaking partnerships of CRAU players and it was Dominic and Nikhil who bagged 2 wickets each and led the bowling attack.
Thoiba and Bryan also took one wicket apiece to help PTCC earn a convincing victory.
CYCLONE will meet UCC at Heinoupok in a Group B league match on April 28 while Model Club will meet TCMDC in a Group B league match at Langthabal Public Ground.
