U-17 State Subroto Mukerjee Football : Bishnupur, Chandel complete semi-final line up

Madhumati Govt High School representing Bishnupur and Emmanuel School of Chandel district emerged respective Group winners to make it through the last four round of the State Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament for U-17 Girls organised by Department of Youth Affairs and Sports at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
In a decisive Group C league match, Madhumati Govt High School, which trounced MMS Genius Academy, Kakching district by 4-1 goals yesterday breezed past Higher Themzan School of Ukhrul district by 5-0 to become the group winners and book the semi-final berth.
L Bibicha shone with three goals (2', 8', 14') in this match whereas L Bijeiya (5') and L Babydolly (24') added a goal each to make up the total score.

Meanwhile in the Group D second leg, Emmanuel School of Chandel district thumped The New Model English School, Thoubal by 2-0 goals to eased into the last four round with 4-1 aggregate finish.
The opening goal came up early in the 5th minute with Heman taking the strike while Sanjana fired home the final goal in the 23rd minute.
The day also witnessed Eklavya Model Residential School, Kangpokpi romp past Borobekra Hr Secondary School, Jiribam by 6-0 goals in an inconsequential Group A league match.
Neihoiching scored thrice (17', 34', 47') and Hoineikim (4'), Nengjalhai (35') and Lhingboikim (42') scored in this one sided match to ensure huge win for the Kangpokpi side.
Dr S Radhakrishnan Foundation School, Churachandpur also notched up a huge 10-0 win against Bukpi Govt High School, Pherzawl in an dead rubber Group B clash.
The day also saw Higher Themzan Academy, Ukhrul withdraw from a Group C league match against their Kakching rivals on medical ground handing the latter team a walk-over.
Nilamani English School (IW) will take on Madhumati Govt H/School (Bpr) in the first semi-final match tomorrow at 6 am while Poiroukhongjil High School (IE) will face Emmanuel School (Chandel) in the second semi-final match latter at 8 am .
