MAKA names athletes for Senior Karate Nationals

Imphal, September 20 2021: The Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association (MAKA) has officially announced names of karatekas selected in the State team for the KIO Senior National Karate Championship 2021 which is scheduled to be held next month.

The karatekas who have been selected for the championship due to be organised by Karate India Organisation (KIO) along with their parent unit and weight categories are as follows: Kumite event: Laishram Sofiya Devi (Zendokai; -50 kg); Priya Loitam (Zendokai; -61 kg); Konsam Sylvia (Seiko Kai; +68 kg); Soibam James Singh (SAI-STC; -55 kg), M Joychandra (SAI-STC; -60 kg), Sagolshem Herojit Meitei (ISKF; -67 kg), Jetlee Chabungbam (NSKF; -75 kg) and Channam Ramson (Seiko Kai; +84 kg); Kata event: Laishram Yaiphaba Singh (IKSF).

MAKA, in a press release, also informed the selected karatekas to contact the association for ticketing and other formalities within 5 days.
