U-17 Khelo Indian Women's League : Kimte leads YWC-L in 9-1 demolition of WFA, PLL earn dramatic 4-3 comeback win against LC

Kimte's scored 5 goals to help YWC-Langthabal crush WFA, Kakching by 9-1 goals while PLL came back from three goals down in the first half to top Lenlai Club 4-3 in an all Churachandpur clash today at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in the U-17 Khelo India Women's League 2019 being organised by All Manipur Football Association in association with Directorate of YAS under the supervision of All India Football Federation.

In the tournament's third fixture, YWC stamped their superiority as Kimte scored twice in a span of 5 minutes (21', 25') to overturn the lead in YWC's favour after Rosy gave WFA, Kakching the lead in the 16th minute against the run of the play while Moilunsiang found her way deep into rivals' box and banged in YWC-L's third goal in the 39th minute to make it 3-1 till the break.
The second half saw YWC-L pick up the game from where they left and Moilunsian completed her brace in the 54th minute before Kimte rose again to pump in three goals on trot (63', 67', 75'). Jeena (76') and Hoineihal (78') too find the target in the last few minutes from time to complete the 9-1 decimation of the Kakching side.
Meanwhile in the second clash and the tourney's fourth, LC dominated earlier proceedings and scored their all three goals in the first half before they game took an unexpected turn in the second half leading to the team's 4-3 defeat.
The first half was all about LC as Caroline opened up the account in the 12th minute before Moibiaksiam fired home twice in the 30th and the 33rd minutes but PLL upped their ante and started looking for gaps as soon as the second half resumed.
After facing resistance for a while, LC started to loose ground and PLL found their way into the game and opened up the scoring through Lalthangmawi in the 46th minute before Thiemlalnei cut the gap with another goal in the 68th minute.
LC which looked to win the game failed to make a return and to their disappointment Hoimalsawm handed PLL the equaliser in the 77th minute before Siamlunkim broke the deadlock with a surprise goal during the stoppage time to ensure PLL seal the game 4-3 .
