Yohenba earns Manipur second gold at Indian Open Intl G-1 Taekwondo Championship

Imphal, June 17 2019:
Yohenba won the second gold medal for Manipur at the ongoing 2nd Indian Open International G-1 Ranking Championship organised under the auspices of Taekwondo Federation of India at Hyderabad since June 11 .
Yohenba came out on top in the 57 kg cadet boys event after Priyadarshini Mayengbam (cadet girls: 44 kg) clinched first gold medal yesterday.

The day also saw Manipur bag two silver medals through Jackson Yensembam (in the black belt cadet boys under 49 kg event) and Mangaleiba Ningombam (in the colour belt junior boy's under 63 kg event).
Manipur also won one bronze medal today extending Manipur's tally to 9 medals (2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals).
K Melin settled for the bronze medal today in the junior boys under 73 kg event, after N Elizabeth (jr girls' -49 kg event), H Maheshori (cadet girls' -59 kg event), Shamurailatpam Ghanapriya (women's black belt: 44 kg) and A Kishan (cadet boys' -53 kg event) bag the same earlier in the tournament.
