Adventure course for Dzuko

Imphal, March 15 2015:
Special Adventure Course for Exploration of New State Dzuko Valley Routes will be conducted by the Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association (MMTA) from March 22 to April 5 .
The 73rd edition in the series that spans fifteen days will be divided into two phases.
In the first phase, basic training will be imparted at Manipur Mountaineering Institute, Lamdan for five days.
The next phase will comprised exploration of Dzuko Valley through Hibure Range of Emefiithumai, Mao during the remaining ten days.
The range is known for its potato farming.
It may be reminded, traditional the route to Dzuko from Moa took fifteen hours.
The proposed route will reduce the time by five hours.
Other advantage is that people do not have to trace pass in others territory to appreciate the beauty of Dzuko Valley.
The purpose of the exploration is to open up a safe and short route to Dzuko Valley within the territory of Manipur informed M Kumar, Administrative Office MMTA and MMTA will borne 80 per cent of the cost incurred and the remaining 20 per cent by the individual participants added Kumar.
