Huge wins for ANGTHA FC, SUSAL in 1st SDAU Trophy

ANGTHA FC demolish RYDO, Charangpat by 8-0 goals while SUSAL, Langathel thrashed Langthabal FC by 6-2 goals in today's league matches of the ongoing 1 st State level 7-A-side Village Open Football Tournament 2018 organised by SDAU, Tekcham at Tekcham High School ground.
It was a day to remember for ANGTHA FC as they prevailed over RYDO by 8-0 goals in the first match of the day, riding on N Olen who was banged on target scoring 4 goals to put his team in a very comfortable position.
Olen scored the opening goal in the 11th minute for ANGTHA FC and doubled the lead eight minutes later when he collected a nice pass from his teammate and slotted in past the custodian of RYDO.
N Binand took his turn to extend the lead to 3-0 in the 26th minute.
Olen continued his impressive form and netted two successive goals in the 32nd and 36th minute to make it 5-0.Y Malemnganba too joined the forces and scored another goal in the 46th minute while Indraraj finished the proceedings with his two quick goals in the 48th and 49th minute to hand his team a huge 8-0 victory.
The second match of the day also produced good number of goals in a fiercely fought match between Langthabal FC and SUSAL, Langathel.
However, SUSAL had the last laugh as they romped past Langthabal FC by 6-2 goals.
Both the team started the match on a cautious note and waited for the right opportunity to unleash their shot, however, Birun Singh of SUSAL got the breakthrough in the 16th minute to give his team a 1 -0 lead.
Sanatomba Singh also swung into action and added one more goal one minute later to make it 2-0.Birun Singh was on target and registered his second goal in the 24th minute to further extended the lead to 3-0.He netted another goal from a close range in the 27th minute to make the scoreline read 4-0.Then came the turn of Amit Singh who cleverly tapped in a close pass in the box to give a 5-0 lead for SUSAL.
Meanwhile, Langthabal FC tried hard to come back in the second half and were successful when Barlin Singh seized an opportunity in the 37th minute where he was found unmarked near the box and slotted in the ball comfortably to reduce the goal margin to 1-5 .
Indrajit Singh also clung in and added another goal for Langthabal side in the 46th minute to further reduce the margin to 2-5.However, Nitish Singh's late goal in the 48th minute gave a perfect finish for SUSAL and wrapped up the match by a massive 6-2 goals.
