PTRC which won the toss and elected to bat first piled up only 165 runs for 7 in 30 overs riding on Joyraj and Jotin's half centuries but YUCC's concerted effort helped them gather 169 in 27.5 overs for the win..
PTRC got off to a good start with Joyraj hitting a half century -65 off 62 balls but sudden dismissals of his opening partner and the following batsmen put them on the back foot.
Jotin's entry however proved to be a boon for the team but his departure after hitting a 52 ball 54 led to gradual slow down and eventually ended their innings for 165 runs.
The innings saw Dibak of YUCC claim two for 21 in 6 overs while Kadamjit, Bikash and Devaraj manage a wicket each.
YUCC's chase was not a smooth one but 23 extra runs conceded by PTRC bowlers, Thoiba's opening 24 run effort off 17 balls and Kadamjit's responsible middle order batting (39 not out) steered the team to a 3 wicket win.
N Rohit (13) and Dibak (16) too made double digit contributions before Kadamjit hit a 6 to finish the chase.
Jotin of PTRC produced an outstanding bowling performance finishing with a 3 wicket haul for 11 in 6 overs but his effort went in vain as they conceded too much extra today.
