6th Lamlai Andro Kendra Football : YFC, OFA and EUSC complete semi-final line up

YFC, OFA and EUSC defeated their respective rivals today to complete the semi-final line up of the ongoing 6th Lamlai Andro Kendra Village Wise Football Tournament 2019 organised by Bright Star Union, Nongpok Kakching at Ibudhou Khamlangba ground.
The second quarter final match of the day saw YFC, Huikap relied on braces from L Bilky and L Sudhir to see off Sekta B by 5-2 goals.
L Bilky opened up the scoring in the 9th minute of the match but N Henary of Sekta B draw level in the 14th minute of the match.
It was an end to end affair for a while after the equaliser but YFC bounced back again with L Bilky adding his second in the 32nd minute of the match before Sh Sandeep made it 3-1 with a well taken shot in the 36th minute.
YFC continued to dominate the possession and added two more goals through L Sudhir (39', 44') and ascertained their victory.
S Bishorjit of Sekta B scored in the 46th minute to reduce the gap but it was too late for them to made a comeback and ultimately the game ended 5-2 in YFC's favour.
In the second quarter final clash of the day and the tournament's third, OFA took a 1-0 lead through Parithoi in the 20th minute but L Dinesh (23') and N Jitendra (26') scored one goal each to help Five Brothers overturn the table.
OFA however staged a fine comeback as Telheiba drew level in the 37th minute before Biju earned the lead in the 40th minute to set up a 3-2 win.
Elsewhere in the last quarter final match of the tournament, EUSC, Tellou eased to a 6-1 win against ASSA, Sanjenbam to book the semi-final berth.
K Ibotombi handed EUSC the lead early in the 9th minute while Ng Jiten doubled the lead in the 17th minute before L Sanajaoba pulled back a goal for ASSA in the 22nd minute of the match.
EUSC onslaught got moreintense in the latter part of the game and it was Ng Jiten who slot home his second goal in the 32nd minute before S Noben fired in two goals (50', 60') to make it 5-1 past the Sanjenbam side.
EUSC did not spare their chances even during the stoppage time and had an own goal made count to their tally as A Bikramjit netted into his own net for a 6-1 decimation of their rivals.
BSU-A will meet YFC, Huikap in the first semi-final tomorrow at 2.30 pm .
