YPHU beat KLASA 4-2 to cruise into semis of 10th Shaheed Manoranjan Memorial CRPF Football tourney

N Olen scores thrice as YPHU, Lalambung edged out KLASA 4-2 in the first quarter final match of the ongoing 10th Shaheed Manoranjan Memorial CRPF Football.
YPHU had an impressive day out at SAI Turf ground, Takyel today as they prevailed over the Keinou side thoroughly.
Star of the match, N Olen had his say 12 minutes into the play to hand YPHU the lead after their earlier runs were denied by KLASA defence.
L Kishan however put KLASA on level terms with a fine goal in the 34th minute before Komando helped YPHU regain the lead in the 45th minute of the match.
YPHU sustained their momentum in the second half as well and to their delight, a penalty was awarded in the 49th minute.
N Olen who stepped up for the spot kick, made no mistake to ensure YPHU enjoy a two goal cushion.
N Olen continued to maintain his cool and capped another chance in the 72nd minute to complete his treble to give his team a 4-1 lead.
KLASA which were reeling under pressure managed to ease out for a while with H Romesh scoring in the 75th minute but their hope of restoring parity remained beyond the horizon till full time.
S Boy (45+2') and Th Noren (53') of YPHU and KLASA's L Kishan (36') were yellow carded by the referee for their unsportsmanlike behaviours.
Meanwhile in a pre quarter final clash, NISA simply outclassed GSC 6-0 as L Gouro scored a brace to make it 2-0 till the break.
L Gouro opened up his account in the 20th minute of the match while the second goal came flying in the 30th minute.
The real onslaught happened during the second half as L Sudhir hit NISA's third in the 53rd minute and GSC continued to slump as L Sanatomba handed NISA the 4-0 lead in the 64th minute of the match.
H Telheiba also found his name on the scoresheet in the 86th minute as GSC defence line proved too easy to penetrate while Johnychand completed NISA's scoring one minute from time.
