2nd AMFA Cup : F4C blank Angtha FC 9-0 as WAFA down JSYC 4-2

Wangoi Football Association (WAFA) overcame J Songtun Youth Club (JYSC) by 4-2 goals for the third straight win in the 2nd AMFA Cup after the first two matches were drawn.
Hidam Rakesh produced an eye-catching performance today and scored a treble in WAFA's win at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.
The first period was a neck and neck affair with WAFA coming back twice to play out a 2-2 with JSYC.
Jamkhangin found the opener as early as 4 minutes into the game before Hidam Rakesh pulled level in the 24th minute.
Mangginhao Kipgen put JSYC ahead again in the 34th minute only to see Thounaojam Hemba of WAFA equalise two minutes later.
It was almost an end to end affair after the break until Rakesh found his second in the 76th minute and sealed the victory with another strike one minutes into the stoppage time.
Elsewhere at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong, substitute Lalgungin Lotjem ran riot and scored 5 goals alone in the second half to guide Football4Change (F4C) to a 9-0 win.
F4C started on a bright note and took a 3-0 lead before the break thanks to goals from Kishor Tiwari (24', 40') and Mangminlal Haokip (32') .
After the break, 4FC continued to trouble Angtha FC defence and raced to a 4-0 lead as Lunkhongam Chongloi found the target in the 69 th minute.
Lalgungin Lotjem who subbed in for Thangboilen Doungel in the 58 th minute then ran riot to pump in five goals in the 76th, 80th, 84th, 86th and another into the stoppage time (90+1') to devastate Angtha FC 9-0.Tomorrow's matches: YOSC vs KYVO 11.45 am; AMOFA vs FC Lamjao from 2.05 pm.
