Women's League: YWC, KRYPSHA win as PMSC, ICSA split points

Imphal, January 10 2022:
Both YWC (Langthabal) and KRYPSHA (Naoremthong) notched up contrasting victories while MPSC (Police HQ) and ICSA (Irengbam) settled for a point each in the 12th AMFA Senior Women's Football League on Monday.
Hoineihat scored a treble as YWC enjoyed a 7-1 drubbing of WFA(Kakching).
W Diana opened the scoring in the 16th minute before a defensive error by WFA put YWC 2-0 up in the 24th minute.
Then Hoineihat upped the scoring ante with a double that she collected in the 36th and 43rd minutes.
Thoibisana further stretched YWC's lead to 5-0 after finding the back of the net in the 47th minute and Nandeshwori made it 6-0 in the 66th minute before Bhumika pulled a goal back for WFA in the 70th minute.
Hoineihat then rounded off her treble and team's scoring in the 73rd minute as YWC emerged 7-1 victors.
Roja Devi netted a hat-trick to guide KRYPSHA to a 3-2 win over ESU (Wangkhei) .
Roja put her side ahead in the 24th minute and she went on to extend the lead six minutes later.
ESU, however, staged a surprise comeback and got back on level terms before the break, with E Panthoi Chanu on target in the 39th minute and I Prameshori scoring the equaliser just before the half-time whistle.
The second half saw an in tense battle but it was Roja who rose to the occasion for KRYPSHA and sealed the deal for her side with a 75th-minute strike, her third goal.
The match between MPSC and ICSA ended in a goalless draw.
