MU sweep the board in varsity Sepaktakraw c'ship

Imphal, March 13 2023: Hosts Manipur University made a clean sweep of all three gold medals in the All India Inter University Sepaktakraw (M) Championship 2023 held from March 6-9.In the team event, Manipur University beat Punjabi University (Patiala, Punjab) in the final as both Panjab University (Chandigarh) and RTM Nagpur University (Maharashtra) finished third.

Manipur University also won the regu event after defeating Punjabi University in their summit clash, while Panjab University and Assam University (Silchar) shared third place.

Manipur University's other gold medal claimed in the quadrant event.

They beat Panjab University in their final match.

Both Punjabi University and Anna University (Chennai, Tamil Nadu) settled for bronze medal.
