Six state wushu athletes selected

Imphal, August 02 2022:
Six state wushu athletes are among the 12-member Indian team for the Batumi Open International Wushu Tournament to be held at Batumi, Georgia from August 3-7, 2022.Langlentombi Hanjabam (nanquan event), Kangjam Monish (taijiquan), Jollyson Thangjam (nanquan), Heishnam Pravabati (sanda), Naresh Nongmaithem (sanda) and Thangjam Naocha (sanda) will be part of the Indian squad for Batumi International Wushu Tournament.
The six state players are currently undergoing training at the National Centres of Excellence (NCOE), Takyel, under head coach Maibam Premkumar Singh and coach Soibam Ashalata Devi.
