Bishnupur Super Division League KLASA emerge league champion

Imphal, October 01 2015: KLASA, Keinou emerged the champion of the 5th D Majabi Kabui Memorial Super Division Football League 2015, organised by the District Sports Association (DSA), Bishnupur, today at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

With 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, KLASA secured 19 points to clinch the league champion.

KLASA will represent Bishnupur in the upcoming Winners Cup and CC Meet 2015 .

In today's least league match, a lone goal from H Romen in the 79th minute helped AMOFA claim a narrow 1-0 win against KYVO, Khumpham.

The closing ceremony of the league was attended by Horticulture and Soil Conservation DO K Biren, Horticulture and Soil Conservation 8 GO P Biren, Horticulture and Soil Conservation AO SC Sh Jayadeva and Horticulture and Soil Conservation AO SC A Nabachandra as presidium members.

Bishnupur 1st Div League : LFC, Ngaikhong edged out YWO, Bishnupur by a margin of 2 goals to one in the 2nd H Pishak Memorial 1st Division Football League.

The winning goals of LFC were scored by Th Henba and H Sunder in the 20th and 48th minute while the solitary goal for YWO came through Md Iqbal in the 34th minute.

YWO's L Surchand and LFC's P Hitler were sent off in the 51st minute after they were involved in a brawl while O Dutta of YWO and H Sunder of LFC were cautioned for unsporting behaviour.

Bishnupur 2nd Divison League : Golmei Chinggaijam struck home a goal in the 27th minute as KYWA, Khuman edged past SEVA, Naranseina in the 9th N Balananda Memorial 2nd Division Football League, organised by the Districts Sports Association, Bishnupur, today at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.
