KSDO beat YWC by 4 wickets in Superplate Tournament

Imphal, March 13 2023: KSDO notched up a convincing four-wicket win over YWC in a Group A match of the MNCA Superplate Tournament played at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, Imphal East on Monday.

YWC opted to bat first and made 126 after being bundled out in 28.2 overs.

In the innings, Pukhrambam Prashantamani, who batted at 9, crafted 47 off 29 balls to help his side cross 120 after preceding batters could only score 51 runs combined.

For KSDO, Lakimbur and Shajahan equally shared six wickets between them while Md Shamir Khan picked up two, with Tarique Aziz and S Shah Nawaz taking one each.

KSDO then took 27.3 overs to achieve the target with efforts by Abdul Rafique (46), Nawaz Sharif (25), Shajahan (13), Md Arif Khan (10 not out), Md Raish Raza (10), Tarique Aziz (6 not out), Reehaj (3) and Md Shamir Khan (2).For YWC, N Bishwash and P Prashantamani took two wickets each while Seram Robinson and Y Vivek bagged one each.

Shajahan was named man of the match.
