Manipur crowned champions of Sub-Junior Boys' National Sepaktakraw Championship

Manipur were crowned champions of the 24th Sub Junior Boys' National Sepaktakraw Championship 2022 on Wednesday.
The state boys upstaged Nagaland 21-11, 21-5 in their summit clash of the Regu event.
En route to the final, Manipur cruised past Delhi 21-8, 21-3 in the quarterfinal before they handed a 21-9, 21-11 defeat to Uttar Pradesh in their semifinal clash.
The junior boys, on the other hand, are only one win away from securing title.
They overcame dogged Bihar 21-19, 19-21, 21-10 in their semifinal encounter on Wednesday.
Earlier in the quarterfinal, Manipur's junior boys registered a 21-9, 21-14 victory over Odisha.
The state junior girls' team secured two wins in the double event in the day's competition.
They defeated Gujarat 21-10, 21-14 in their first match and then beat Odisha 21-6, 21-11 in their second match.
