Jeet Kune Do medalists felicitated

Eleven players from Bishnupur district who won nine gold medals, one each of silver and bronze medal in the Light Contact category of the 2nd World Jeet Kune Do Championship-2023 held at Digana, Kandy, Sri Lanka from March 10 to 12 were felicitated in a function held at Kakyai Tona Kangjeibung ground, Nambol on Friday.
The programme organised jointly by Kakyai Mayai Youth Development Club (KMYDC) and Jeet Kune Do Association Bishnupur District was attended by National Minority Morcha in-charge (Jammu and Kashmir) Faheem Aha-mad as chief guest and CRPF Langjing DIG PK Naik Singh as president, while Maipakpi Hospital managing director Dr Kh Tomba Singh, SLR Diagnostic Centre director Dr Ashangbam Vivekananda, Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee H Rabikanta Meitei, Quality Council of India member Th Surjit Singh, BJP Imphal Central District official RK Bimolchandra Singh, KMYDC president P Nilamani Singh, Jeet Kune Do Association Bishnupur District founder H Manaobi Mangang and social worker Nandalal Angomcha were present as guests of honour.
