MNCA contributes Rs 5 lakh to CM COVID-19 Relief Fund

Imphal, March 29 2020:
In view of the ongoing crisis of COVID-19 pandemic in the Country and the States, Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) today contributed a sum of Rs 5 lakh to the " Chief Minister's COVID-19 Relief Fund" with the primary objective of dealing with the emergency/distress situations to combat COVID-19 in the State.

MNCA's president RK Imo Singh; vice president Laithangbam Binoy Singh; honorary secretary Singam Priyananda Singh; honorary treasurer Laithangbam Ronel Singh and honorary joint secretary Konthoujam Bobin Singh were present for the occasion at the Chief Minister's office at Babupara, said a press statement of MNCA.
BCCI on Saturday announced to donate Rs 51 crore to the Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM-CARES Fund), of which Rs 50 lakh each will be collected from all the affiliated State Associations, including Manipur Cricket Association to help in fighting COVID-19 in the country, the statement continued.
